Michio composes the music for Marguerite Donlon’s new piece “Fragile” as part of the dance evening “ZART” at Theater Hagen. Premiere is on the third of October 2020

After surviving lockdown, Cooperativa Maura Morales is back on tour with the award-winning solo “Wunschkonzert”, for which Michio composed the music. Performances in September and October at the Pumpenhaus/Münster, at the Staatstheater Darmstadt, at the International Dance Theater Festival in Erfurt, and at the Theater im Ballssal in Bonn.

Rehearsals for “Efecto Mariopsa”, the new dance theater production of Cooperativa Maura Morales, have begun with a one-month residency at Ringlokschuppen Ruhr. This is also where the premiere will take place on Nov. 27, 2020. Michio is composing the stage music and will perform it live.

Michio is participating in the Westworld Scoring Competition 2020.

This is a competition announced by HBO and Spitfire Audio, where the music for a film sequence from the 3rd season of Westworld had to be composed and produced.

Premiere is on 20.11.2019 at the FFT-Juta in Düsseldorf

The Cooperativa Maura Morales is very much looking forward to showing the solo piece “Exceso de la nada” on October 3 and 4 in St. Petersburg and feels honored to represent the dance section of our state capital with the same piece during this year’s “Düsseldorf Days in Moscow” from October 10 to 13. In Germany, the piece will again be shown on 24 October at the Schwankhalle in Bremen and on 26 October at the Eintanzhaus in Mannheim.

The Cooperativa Maura Morales has created a commissioned work for the “Stado Compagnia Danza” within the framework of “TanzGedichte”. Premiere is on 1.8.2019 in the Stathaus Ulm.

In July the Cooperativa Maura Morales was a guest at the international dance festival Haba Na Haba in Dar Es Salam, Tanzania, with her piece “Exceso de la nada”.
